Tether Takedown

Backstory

Tether Takedown was developed in 8 months during my time at Niagara College's Game Development Program.  Our team went under the name of 9Lives Studios.  We wanted to make a game with a wide variety of characters and a lot of mayhem, all while having a grappling hook mechanic.

The end result was an arena that transformed between four different themes in real time!  Players would use their grappling hooks to zip across the stage or activate stage hazards from a distance, trying to get hit by the least amount of things possible.

The only big regret of this game is that the build of the game has been lost, so all that's left is some concept art, the promotional poster art,  a work in progress video from mid development, and a cool t-shirt we all wore to Level Up 2018 where we showcased the game.
